SUMMARY:Brisbane German Families: Meet Up
DESCRIPTION:Brisbane German Families is a welcoming\, family-focused undergroup that brings together German families across Brisbane. Our aim is to help children hear\, use and enjoy the German language while celebrating German culture\, traditions and heritage in a fun and supportive environment. \nWe host monthly family meet-ups featuring singing\, games\, crafts and play\, along with seasonal celebrations throughout the year. We are also building a small German children’s library to encourage language learning at home. \nWhether you’ve got German family history\, are new to Brisbane\, or simply looking to connect with other German families\, Brisbane German Families offers a friendly community. \nMembership is $50 per year per family unit and at least one adult from the family unit must be a full Brisbane German Club member (or on the path to transition to full membership via a 12 months social membership). This helps cover costs for events\, craft materials\, activity resources\, as well as access to a small German children’s book library. Newcomers are welcome to attend an event before joining. \nInterested in joining Brisbane German Families? We’d love to hear from you! Email us at brisbanegermanfamilies@gmail.com\, join our WhatsApp Community to stay up to date with events and announcements\, and complete our online membership form to become a member.
