The Brisbane German Club is located in Vulture Street opposite the Gabba Gate entrance gate 04.

For significant events at the Gabba such as international cricket or AFL games the Brisbane German Club offers a limited food menu to ensure faster service.

When we promote a match day express menu, this is what you can expect:

• Our standard full a la carte menu is suspended so that we can focus on a core range and serve you as efficiently as possible
• It will generally be served from the beer hall where you line-up and order/pay then collect your food immediately as it is plated right in front of you
• The menu generally consists of our infamous Pork Knuckle, Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Parmy, a choice of two Wurst (Sausages), Traditional Pretzel with butter, and a vegan option
• All mains served with mashed potato, sauerkraut, vegetables, and gravy

We do not apply a gameday surcharge.

We do not take reservations; every seat/table in the Club (restaurant, beer hall, and beer garden) is offered on a first-in basis.

The Club will stay open during the game also and you’re more than welcome to come back and enjoy all that we have to offer at any time during breaks or afterwards, or just stay where the Bier is better and more affordable!

Given the crowd volumes we do usually have to suspend serving in glassware and will instead pour into our reusable perspex cups. (Note that these are not to keep as the intention is so that we can wash and reuse them to limit waste)

We do continue to offer our usual member discounts: 10% off all standard prices for full members and 5% off for social members

All members are encouraged to scan in at the front entrance, which will also give you $1 off your first purchase.

Due to compliance requirements takeaway sales are suspended while we operate in event mode, and nothing other than a water cup/bottle or softdrink can be taken outside of the venue. (You are of course always welcome to take leftover food with you – but please note the stadium may not allow it through their checkpoints)
